EXPERTS NEEDED....How do you store your eggs

I've heard that a washed egg in a refrigerator will last one month; an unwashed egg on the counter will last two weeks; and a washed egg on the counter will last a few days. When you wash an egg, the natural bloom comes off and it goes bad quicker.

Cmon this was an awesome find! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I really appreciate this article as I'm sure others will

In the end it's all going to come down to your personal preference.

There are folks here who cover the entire spectrum of the ways to keep eggs.

I sell eggs so I want my customers to get the freshest, highest quality egg I can give them so ours are gathered, washed, and refrigerated every day. I don't ordinarily sanitize them unless we're going to hatch them. Then just before they are set we'll do that.

Washed, unwashed, refrigerated or not. It's all up to you. Unless you're going to keep them for more than a month though this whole bloom business is way overrated.
