I am relatively new to raising chickens. First of all, I'll tell you what I have. I have 11 TSC Red Star chickens. Not sure yet if any are roosters, their only about 3 months old. The other day I got 2 sultan hens and 2 cochin hens. I put the sultans in with the red stars right away and they are all doing fine.
One of the cochin hens was targeted by the rooster at the place we got her from. She has a spot on her back where it looks like she just has downy feathers. The sultan hens picked on her on the car ride home so I'm worried about the others picking on her also. They are also smaller than the other hens.Her name is Tina and I like her and don't want her to get hurt.
Is there anything I can feed her to advance feather growth? Is there anything else I can do to get the others to leave her alone?
