Feeding Tortoise Food to Quail?

Hi everybody,
I'm currently in the process of raising baby quail, and I was wondering if this food
https://zoomed.com/natural-grassland-tortoise-food/ would be O.K. to feed them. I already have this, so I figured I may as well use it. It wouldn't be the only thing I give them to eat; it would just make up a small part of their diet. The ingredients are in the link posted. I would appreciate it a lot if someone would look through the ingredients list and let me know if it's ok to feed to them.

Hi there, welcome to BYC!

That would be okay to feed as a treat on a VERY limited basis. It has only 8% protein and baby quail need at least 24% minimum. If you are using a formulated game bird ration... maybe mix this in at NO more than 10% total to keep other vitamins, mineral, and particularly amino acids close to their correct levels.

Or find someone to give that tortoise food to and kinda pay it forward.
