FERMENTED FEEDS...anyone using them?

How many days has it been? It should be getting ready after 4 days.

I really loved Beekissed's idea for using an old cooler! I was just waiting for space in our recycle can to dump an old one when I saw it mentioned.

Oh cooler would be nice. I'm going to out a five gallon bucket inside of a metal trash can with small holes so I can leave it outside of the coop and get the drink out of my garage! The trash can has a lock too.

It was two when I posted that. I fed at three since it takes a couple of days to eat it up

I have to laugh at how hesitant I was to start ff and now I have 3 diff batches 1 layers 2 meaties and 3 nursery

The ONLY thing I can see wrong with this is, all that feed ABOVE the ff will or may mold so the walls needs to be cleaned when you stir or get your food out to feed. That on the top and sides needs to be cleaned off and always kept off the sides so it doesn't get IN the food to grow more.
