Fertilized Supermarket eggs..?

I have Heard of quail eggs from your local supermarket hatching! Is this even possible? Could there have been an issue in sexing the chicks? Possibly putting the rooster in with the hens? Any thoughts on possible fertilized eggs at a supermarket? Has anybody successfully hatched any store-bought eggs?

If ya'll type in store bought eggs in the search bar you'll find a lot of posts where people have successfully hatched eggs they purchased at the store.

Yep, I hatched store duck eggs. Though I wouldnt reccomend doing that as they come from a breed that lays way too many eggs, and my girls have had issues from that.
Quail eggs are sometimes fertilised too, just be aware of what breed they are, is all I'd say. Some eggs are stored in refrigerators and might not be viable anymore, but they have a chance at hatching
