Since I posted this, the next few days she laid in a corner. I put her nesting box in that same corner and now she lays nowhere else. I have an additional 3 laying now. I got the large one today. They have the most beautiful glossy shells.
They are beautiful eggs. Great you have a couple more laying. I've been buying my eggs from a local hardware store where people that raise chickens take their excess eggs. I will do the same when that time comes. I'm hoping I won't have to buy any more very soon. Amazing you got such a big egg there for a newbie layer. That's lovely. It looks like an antique but it isn't. I got it from Amazon 7 years ago.

She just looks to be sitting down. Squatting requires the bird to be standing, tail tilted up and wings halfway out.
