Hi there. We have a flock of mixed ages and breeds. Lately we've noticed most of them have been wheezing, coughing, sneezing, their eyes are closed a lot and their noses are either blocked with mucus or runny. I found worms in their manure, so that is currently being treated. We had a Jubilee Orpington who got the same symptoms that these ones are displaying, and we took her to the vet. The vet recommended water soluble copper sulfate. We used it, and it seemed to clear up, but then she passed. We dont know exactly whats going on, but it seems like a respiratory illness. Would worms also cause this? Please help, thanks.

Hi there,

I would suggest you search threads for respiratory illnesses. There seems to be quite a few illnesses that fit the symptoms you describe. I'm no expert, but i would strongly suggest that worms are not the cause.
Good luck
