If possible, will you post what breeds you raise, tell whether or not they are show quality, and if you are currently selling?

I know there are other threads about silkies, but I am wanting to create one just for Florida breeders. I also know that there are Florida threads in the Where am I where are you section. I am combining the two so please no "there are other posts, somebody already did something similar, etc"

Ok. I'll start. My name is Connor (aka FLTeen) and I raise blue and splash silkies here in Mayo, Florida which is located in the north central part. I own both show quality and hatchery quality birds. Want to get other colors in the future(part of the reason I am making this thread in the first place) including Buff, Black, and White.

Colors and other things are going to be abbreviated as follows if there isn't enough room to spell them out-Blue-Bl Splash-S Black-B White-W Partridge-P Buff-Bf Showgirls-SG Show Quality-SQ Breeder quality-BQ Pet Quality-PQ

Hi,

I am interested in keeping silkies as part of my chicken flock. I am just getting started. Do you have a facebook or website?

Hi, I am new with silkies and today I have noticed that my white silkie pair have sort of a little flies on them, and in the feathers there are lots of what it seen to be eggs. What should I do!!! I'm worried!!! Thanks in advance!

I am looking to purchase two maybe four slikies. My grandson got a few for Christmas back the earlier part of Dec. that were maybe 2 weeks old. This morning he lost them. Needless to say he is very upset about this .He was signed up to show them in the Clay County fair in two weeks. While I know that he can not show them this time. I would still like to replace them for him.
My name is Audrey Peterson.
