If he can get to shade he should be fine. Mine are complaining now as they always do about heat. I do check carefully for worm burden issues and would be especially diligent with new birds.

He has the best treatment being a new bird, he has the tipi when he's on the line, has the biggest scratch pen too. Let him out since they want to be arrogant and not eat grower feed so they're stuffing grass in their crops and access to a jug of clean mineral water. He shouldn't be worried, he's extremely comfortable with me, my girlfriend can handle him flow the fingers through his hackle and he's fine.
