Finally staying around 50-60 degrees at night. I have onions, garlic, Bush beans, dill and lettuce planted. I have tomato’s and peppers in wall o waters out since March 13th, they survived 28 degrees with those in place. I put out watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, plants raised from seed under grow lights and heat mats (just like the tomatoes and pepper) next weekend. The slicing and pickling cucumbers get seeded then too. I’m just learning more about the chickens I just got 2 Plymouth Rock pullets about a month ago. I’ve learned they are not to be let loose without supervision. They eat all kinds of stuff listed as chicken resistant! I do have my garden fenced thankfully. Anyone else getting their gardens in?
