Gender Check on me BO, and How Old Am I?

I rescued this poor thing from the WORST conditions you can imagine. Long story. The woman told me she was a pullet, and was 12 weeks at the time. If that was true, she should now be about 23 weeks, but I am doubting the sex and the age. Any ideas?

I think it's a hen, even though the hackles look like a roo. I don't see any saddle feathers though.

That is a Buff Minorca pullet.

She has white earlobes, and a more slim trim body shape (compared to large fluffy Orpingtons).

Yup, she's a hen. 23 weeks could be her age. If so, she'll start laying soon.

Well I read a little bit about Buff Minorcas and it's 100% her! She's very flighty, not very friendly, and is LOUD. I kept thinking, "this is the strangest BO I have ever seen." LOL! Glad to know she's not a strange BO, she's a normal BM!
