Hi, not sure if these are pure Australorps, poor quality Australorps or something else, but what I'm looking for is your opinion about their gender.
They are 6 weeks old today: blue and white ones seem pullets to me (based on their combs, small and yellow), I'm not sure about the black ones: combs seem to be small for 6 weeks old cockerels, but wattles are big and reddish?
I would love to have your opinions!

I’m thinking #3 is a cockerel, and the rest pullets.

At 6 weeks both 3 and 4 have too much red and too much waddle growth so I am saying cockerel for those two. I am on the edge with the white one as it has red starting on its waddles... But the blue one seems to be a pullet as of now with no waddle or comb growth.

They look like perfectly sound Australorps. I think they are beautiful. I think the same about 3&4, I don't have any experience with white Australorps.

Also, watch the size of their legs. Bigger, thicker legs, compared to the others, can be a cockerel.
Mmh... :hmm in this case the only cockerel should be the white one, but he/she is bigger than the others, so I guess it's normal his/her legs are bigger. I'm starting to think the white one is a different breed. :idunno The other three seem to have very similar sizes!
