Hi BYC, I have day old chicks and I'm trying to see if anyone is able to tell the gender of them by their wings. Thank you!

x2Unless they were deliberately bred for feather sexing, there is no way to tell males from females by feather growth.

Vent sexing shouldn't be attempted unless you are very experienced. Perhaps Junebuggena has some more info thoughUnless they were deliberately bred for feather sexing, there is no way to tell males from females by feather growth.
what about vent sexing ? Does it work on them? And if it's a male there will be a bump right ?
Thank you so much! I've watched many videos on how too, but I don't want to hurt the little babies I guess I will wait until they grow older
