I had bought 9 Silkie babies on February 27th. Three of which were a week to a few days older than the six others. One of those three was my paint Silkie. The beginning of last month all my roos grew a huge comb, grew steamers, and crowed. My paint (the one in questioning) is the only beardless one and looked slightly different from all the others. But some reason it was the first one to stop chirping and start clicking. We have since gotten rid of the boys (because of fighting and crowing) and I still can’t tell if my pint is a roo or not. It stands with a deep chest, but it hasn’t ever grown a comb or crowed. And it’s been at least a month since the crowing started with the younger chicks. What do y’all think? Keep in mind, the puff on its head is shaped weird because I tried to trim for its eye-site lol
