So my girls are 17 weeks old now. 4 Buff Orpington, 4 Black Australorp and 2 Blue Australorps. I have one Buff that has grown a bit larger than the others. Wondering if she might be a little bit older, but was told 4 weeks when I got them from the hatchery. My 1 rooster has had a tough time with dry pox and now a secondary eye infection but is getting better now. Hes 7 months old. Very sweet, doesn't give issue with being picked up and held even when treating his eye infection.

I noticed that my girls waddles and combs are not getting very red yet. Other pics I have seen of them this age are quite a bit larger and red.

Wondering if I should change from starter/grower to layer feed in a couple weeks?

Pics below. My bigger girl is pictured with my roo. And yes they are still separated. Once his eye infection is clear, I should be able to let him out with girls now right?

Also, when I visit them, which is about 3 times a day for about 20 minutes, sometimes more. They have started pecking at me. All but one is pretty gentle. One Black Australorp is actually pretty aggressive with me. She has flown at me with claws out and trys to peck at me aggressively at the same time, just raising all kinds of ruckus. Lol

I'm assuming affectionate except for the one, is this normal?

You don’t have to switch feed, just start feeding them separate oyster shell for optional calcium. Not sure about your other questions.
