In order to get my 6 week olds to roost in their coop at night, I’ve put a nightlight in the coop. It seems to be working, as tonight 4 of my 6 were in and roosting. I think the nightlight helped them find their way in the dark. My question….is it best to turn out that light or leave it on all night. It’s not very bright. Your typical nightlight.

Best to give them as much natural darkness at night as possible, most animals sleep better that way and I imagine you'd like to wean them off the nightlight after a while.
