Got free old buggy popping corn. OK for Chickens?

Is the corn moldy, or just old. If it's old that's fine. Corn is a good treats for chickens, a lot of chicken scratch mixes have corn in them. But if it's moldy or looks like it's gone bad I would avoid feeding them the corn.

I heard it was buggy. Just got into it, dont see any bugs and certainly no mould. I'm putting it in a feed mix which includes molasses. Will add some hot water to help the mixing and hopefully soften the popcorn. Much thanks for the replies. Nick

The chickens should not need you to soften the corn unless you are raising something like Cornish X or high producing egg layers.
