so a regular circular saw ? I thought it needed jig saw or something with fine teeth. thanks
The skill saw you need to turn the blade around backwards. I've always used a plexiglass cutter. You can probably get one for under five bucks, you guys know what to use to cut plexiglass with ?

Red I'm jumping in early, haven't gotten all the reading done, but with a leghorn their white is dominate. My rir/leghorn mixed offsprings were always white. Both rir & leghorns have big combs so still could be a hen. If its comb starts turning pink within the next couple of weeks I would suspect roosters. I definitely knew by 8 weeks which one of mine were roosters. Your white Silkie looks pure to me, as long as it doesn't have any comb or wattle growth I suspect hen on the white Silkie. Her head fluff looks rounded to me like my hens. My roosters have always had the slicked back crest. Let's keep our fingers crossed. The little black Silkie/EE mix I suspect may be a roo. I think I see a little curl on its tail feathers. The other one not sure, but remember nothing is definate until they either crow or lay an egg. Good luck with themYeah me too. I'm like granny. I think it's mixed leg horn. I know the roo was a rir. Enola didn't you say that the white was dominate with a white leg horn hen and it's not considered a sex-linked?i'm not too good at it.just the little one with that comb looks like my roos did at 3 weeks..
It may work if you turn it around backwards. I don't really know. Like I said, I've always used one of those hand held plexiglass cutters. Twist idea about the knife sounds good to me. I'd be afraid to that the saw may crack it all up. But if twist has done it, might want to listen to him.my blade is for ripping.
