*GRAPHIC* Chicken dead, eggs smashed, dead birds... Halloween mystery?

Until you secure your pop door your birds are vulnerable. If you have a camera put it up because whatever it is will be back. My thought would be a weasel. Whatever the predator is it will be back until it has killed all of your birds. My coops and pens all have electric wires around them and nothing has gotten past the electric wires. Good luck...

I've been putting wood in the door to completely block it at night, that's all the security they've got in it for now.

A few days ago we found a livetrap with the gate down, the bait gone, but the trap was empty. Very strange. So far there have been no more disturbances, but some are still rather scared of sleeping in the coop.

Raccoons are very smart.

I am thinking weasel as well.
