The far reaching eaves dropping our Govt is allowing the NSA to do using the reason for National Security is a bit much in my opinion. Building a 5 million sq ft building complex with enough server storage space to circle the earth and moon thousands of times using a thickness measure of an cell phone seems overkill. At least this is public, compared to Area 51 being denied for decades that it even existed.I can only wonder how enough humans employed can read-decide which communications are a threat, given the zillions of megabytes sent on Google alone daily.Straying from the topic a bit,,but a simple question about NSA and their abilities
If we use the internet to pay bills,I personally always make sure the url reads https:// meaning it's a secure server, protected with encryptions for info that is put in ect,and all that access a site with a server that is secure is traceable. So,does NSA monitor procedures over a https:// server? And I wonder if we would started using encrypted e-mails and such,if that would slow them all down prying into our lives?
