Hi there. I’m in Tampa, Florida and have had my two silver laced Wyandotte hens, Grace and Dutchess, since May of last year after wanting chickens for 32 years. Unfortunately I lost Grace three days ago to an animal attack. She was the sweet favorite of course. I love having them and love the benefits!! I feed an organic, all-inclusive fermented scratch along with fresh veggies, fruits, and worm treats. Still trying to figure out where to go from here... Dutchess needs companionship, and my options are thin so far.

Sorry for your loss. I have lost ladies in the past it can be hard.

Remember chickens are social so if you can might try to find yours another lady friend.

Thanks, I’ll keep looking. I may place her if I don’t find what I’m looking for. I know they are social, which is why I got a pair. I just can’t have more than two.
