Growing Up: Easter Egger

Can anyone tell me if these three are pullets? I bought them from a CL gal in July. They were said to have hatched in late May.

They look like pullets to me.

So my pullets that you graciously confirmed are now laying... Two greenish and one blue egg. They lay every other day, so 3 or 4 a week, each. Is this a normal frequency for EE's? They are still quieter and more skittish than my other hens, but I love them.

Frequency of laying eggs is depend of the age and season for beginning it can be one egg per 3 days then one egg per 2 days then one egg daily.

That is good to know!! I didn't know much about the breed before I got them! However they are beautiful birds! I am excited to see how mine turn out! We are going to get some more chickens! We were told that EE are not good layers, but I have never heard that so it is good to know that they start to out every three days and so on and so on! Thank you!

Thanks for that info. My other hens launched right into laying, and are pretty predictable. I get a kick out of their character. One is Blondie, one is Gray Lady, and one is Trickie.

I love that you all name your chickens!! I wanted to name my chickens but the hubby is always making fun of me for wanting to name them lol

My daughter named some when they were chicks. One Australorp was tinier than the others, so became Tiny. She is huge now.
