Years of putting up with them will be enough to perfect my aim. Unless you are volunteering?Do you have an egg launcher?

I just bought 3 more 4 month old pullets today (1 black, and 2 blues) from the Hupps Farm line to go with my other Australorps from Kurt of Rattlesnake Ridge. I will have more eggs to do a nice spring hatch later, too.
I will try to do my first candling tonight after dark, to see if the eggs in the incubator are showing any signs yet.
Okay, so 4/5 eggs look viable so far... one might be turning into a blood ring. We'll see how it's doing in a few days. 3 have very good development, and I *swear* I saw at least one moving in there at day 8. (am I nuts for seeing movement this early?)cool beans Kaj!
Ok, I did the candling on them, but I couldn't tell anything yet. This is my day 3 now, and the eggs are sort of a light creamy tan color. I will wait until my day 7 and try to do it again.
Hugs Cynth!!!! Glad to have you join us!!!!So, what's up? A Holiday Hatch A Long! How fun.
Volunteering to be a target or an accomplice?Years of putting up with them will be enough to perfect my aim. Unless you are volunteering?
Just a few. LOL
Neither! I'm using them on Mischief Night! I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally don't like the neighbors!
