I've read several posts on here of people conditioning their ducks with treats....i.e. Feeding mealworms while petting, exposing to new things, etc.
My question is, how do you do that safely if they need water to help swallow their food?
Example, if I'm trying to get the ducklings used to being petted/looked at by a group of people...how would I feed them mealworms to create a positive association without having a water cup?
