This is going to sound stupid but....

When my wife and I were at the feed store picking up ducks they had a breed that the guy said, "Is basically a mallard duck with the flight / migration instincts bred out of them"

Can't remember what breed that was but I'd like to know more about it... mallards are beautiful!

He really is a beautiful looking bird!! Looks very happy and healthy too!!

We have a rather large flock of Mallards at the local park in town. (not as nice looking as Trouble however) Those ducks are there all winter long. We live in Pa so it can get pretty cold...but they never leave. I never knew they were actually a migrating bird.
