I find myself fussing at the incubator.... What's to do? They're just holding their own and rolling along. The first day I set them I should probably not count as I'm opening and closing the lid, adjusting the position of the thermometers, fretting about humidity. I think I must have a worry gene...at least I have something to focus it on for the next three weeks.

Agreed! I think there is something 'infectious' in hatching eggs, some kind of super 'bug' that brings a WHOLE new meaning to the words worry wart, fret meister, anxious annie, I could keep going but I would be afraid to help this 'virus' mutate into something on the side of uber hatch~itis! Crap,... I feel a 'fever' comin' on!

Thanks everybody! We now have 14 Pekins and 10 beardeds...one lone egg left in the bator but it's still day 21 so we'll wait a little longer

I have 10 silkie eggs ready to hatch in 4 days. These are from my new bunch of hens who started laying a few weeks ago. Very exciting!
