He did and they look terrible...He use the clippers...Poor Ducks....Feathers are growing back....The hen looks worse...I hope by fall they are feathered?....

dont he know you use scissors to clip wings?

I laughed....
I have never trimmed a wing...My Ducks have never flew away...He felt bad....The feathers will grow back...They just look awful.....Poor Ducks...

Yes....He understands now.....He really felt bad....His friend was helping him and they got a bit excited with the clippers....

Oh my GOSH......After the power was out for over 12 hours...All my embryos are still alive in the incubator ...I waited for them to warm up and all are bouncing...................I guess I do know what I'm doing?......

Yay for your eggs! Happy they survived the outage We had a storm here, but the power stayed on
Poor ducks... A dog clipper? At least the guy feels bad though, it'd be worse if he hurt them intentionally. So are they just fluff and down or do they have some feathers?

Yes it's been interesting around here the last couple of days...
The Clipped birds have just Down on their bodies and feather cut on wings and feathered heads...

I am excited about my hatching eggs....Eggs are tough...

And yes...Dandy will be remembered always....
