Help!!! Egg Bound Easter Egger

My hen has been trying to lay an egg for about 20 hours! Tail feathers have been down and vent contracting.

Gave her a 30 minute Epsom salt bath. Gave her as much of a tum as she’d let me. Dried her and kept her separated with food and water in a nesting box inside. Still no egg.

She pooped liquid brown/black about 9 hours ago and since then she’s pooped about 6 times all mostly white liquid with a little bit of green mush.

What do I do???

Just put the whole pill in her mouth. Just behind the tongue. She'll swallow it.

Yes to the calcium citrate. Just gently open her beak and shove it in, like you would pill a dog. Then give her another soak. Good luck. Keep us posted.

beneath her legs/under vent it might be a bit big/bloated. massage her lightly and see if you can feel the egg. Do not try to move the egg out!
if you need more help, tag me and let me know, there’s a few other methods you can try.

maybe put her in a dark comfortable box with nesting material in a warm place for a few hours/overnight as well.
