Ok, so a few weeks ago I had a buff orpington that had been staying away from the flock, staying puffed up with her head close to her body (as apossed to out streached like when they walk around) so I knew she was not feeling well. She also had the "runs" poop wise. Then after a few days she began limping, just a little at first then she got to the point where she could not use that legg at all. She would use her good legg and wings to push herself around. After another few days she was not able to use the other legg and just stayed in one spot on the floor of the coop all day. She could not get up to poop and just laied there and pooped on herself. I could not figure out what was wrong or get any answers from any one. So I put her out of her missery.
Problem is now I have another BO that is begining to show the same signs. Stays puffed and hunkered down, wont lay eggs. Is away from the rest of the flock and now is beginging to limp!
What in the world could this be? What can I possibly do to help this one?
Some one PLEASE help me get her better!
