Help .. squirrel attack and injured my duck in cage

Check with your local wildlife people, but I was told by ours that squirrels are rarely, if ever, rabies carriers. It has something to do with their having to eat diseased mammal meat, which they rarely do, as they're very fussy about food.
We already talk to biologist, and he never see that before in California. He said the only cases of sq attacking humans was in New York.. they test them, and they come up with very high pesticide poisoning 😭 somebody mentioned that possibly squirrel have a nest somewhere nearby…
