hello! we are new to raising chickens. We have had much trouble trying to get eggs because we are confusing the genders of our chickens; whether we bought them from non-truthful people or hatched them ourselves - still no luck. These two (black and black/white) we hatched ourselves, thought they were hens and sold the others thinking they were roosters. The small grey & white one we think is a Plymouth Rock or Barred Rock cockerel... can anyone confirm its breed and gender as well?
The white one we bought from another person who claimed it was a hen but as he aged we quickly learned he was a roo. Just wondering what breed he is? silkie?

Thank you farming & animal community!

The black and white cockerels in (pics 1-2) are Wyandotte mixes (wrong leg col on 1st one, muffs on 2nd). The cockerel in pic 4 is either a Silkie mix or poor quality Silkie. Plymouth Rock and Barred Rock are the same thing, Plymouth Rock is the breed, barred is the colour, and she is a pullet.
Didn't even notice the muffs or leg colour!
Crosses they are.
