Hen acting lethargic.

She was acting normal when I let her out this morning. eating, drinking and running around.

She won’t eat or drink now and she’s standing still slowly blinking.
She’s been like this for 3 hours.
I’ve checked her vent to see if she’s eggbound, couldn’t feel anything. her crop is small and hard.
Her poop is very watery.

I gave her some water with poultry tonic and garlic and I massaged her crop. She seems to have perked up a bit now.

Turns out she had an impacted crop, we brought her to the vets and they got her to vomit it all out.
They gave us baytril to treat her.
Doing great now, she has to eat soft foods and drink plenty of water.

Glad she is doing better. I have a hen that started acting lethargic a couple days ago. I will check her crop tomorrow.
