Heres an example...
Cuckoo is just a barred pattern on a black bird. I can pull the barred out and put it on other colors and patterns.
Barred on brown gets a crele or golden cuckoo type.
Barred on silver gets a silver cuckoo
Can also put a barred pattern on our buffs or reds.

Or i can bred barred to blacks and lose the barred pattern to improve the blacks. Can use the barred or blacks with the isabellas to get solid lavender leghorns or barred lavender. Then turn around and put the barred and lavander on a silver or brown and make a lavender barred silver or barred isabella.
Understanding genetics and an imagination equals a lot of breeding pens.

Dont have......
Red pile (pyle) ... worked on some for a while but stopped.
Mottled ...can make them but havent yet.
Yellow partridge.... Really would love to have some
Crele.... Working on them
Blue... Working on them
Columbian
Buff columbian... Could get both with enough work but havent tried yet.

Then with what we have theres about a dozen other color/patterns i can come up with that really dont exist yet.
A few ive just started or just need to get started. Color genetics are fun and the more colors and patterns you have the more you can create.
I'd love to see the other colors!
