Well my hens have been in the brood pens for a good two or three moths so today i put her in a square pen with a young stag he mounted her two or three times with her not layin will she be fertil for however long she would be when she was laying or will it stick with her till she starts laying again? Thanks

She'll need to start laying within the next few weeks... and you can't just leave him with her for a short period of time, they'll need to be together until she starts laying and then beyond that a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure they can hold the sperm for a month or so.
