Edit: But I do see how someone above pointed out how many are bots. That's a lot of bots! Why and how do these show up? Is it every time someone clicks a BYC link from a search?

Yikes. I noticed a lot on there from Russia (Yandex). I'm sure plenty of other countries are on that list too - that was just one I recognized. Plus there was a lot of Amazon and Bing, which are big data keepers in the US. And we have no clue what their plans are for the data or some of the things they currently do with it.
