Good morning, all! Newbie here Excited to learn from everyone!

I'll answer the questions, now

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yup, brand new! We got them in mid-March of this year.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4

(3) What breeds do you have?
Buckeye, Speckled Sussex, Easter Egger, and (I believe) a Cuckoo Maran. I may be scooting over to the 'What breed is this?' threads for the last one!

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I've been constantly searching for info/ideas/etc and BYC came up consistently for me, so I came over to check it out. I've been lurking ever since!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I sew and quilt, run and ride my bike, and chase after my kiddos


(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a SAHM but trained as a librarian (hence the SN); we have 3 fish and 2 cats currently; 2 kids, ages 7 and almost 4; we live in beautiful CO. I feel like a brand new mom again with these chickies, so I'm equal parts excited and nervous about the whole thing!
