I have a question about automatic doors,

WHAT IF you have a slow poke in the group and doesn't go in by the time the door closes? or do you just set it to close really late? I'd be worried that a chicken would be stuck outside all night

Since we've just started using the auto door, we've been checking to make sure that everyone is making it in before it closes, and checking to make sure it's closing late enough to give them time to get in.

We're installing the netting on the run either tomorrow or the next day, so no hawks can get them, and they can't fly out.

They haven't shown any inclination to fly yet...but I know there's always the possibility!
