Aren’t nylon halters safer than rope halters?

I personally use the nylon ones because they’re easier to snap if something happened. But that also comes with a downside

I've always used rope halters. I don't think either are very safe because they don't break easy. I need to get some breakaway halters especially for trailering.

I should get them now while they're on sale...
