Well we live among foxes or they live among us. The district is riddled by old gold mine diggings and before we got our pullets we can to an inevitable conclusion that separation is the ONLY way to deal with foxes. There's nothing cleverer at getting a chicken dinner. They climb they dig, they cache. If you have one fox you have at least five at this time of year...and maybe fifty. Hardware cloth, covered access, buried barriers...and where foxes live, many other predators are present. I hear you.
