I hear guinea hens are great because they keep the bugs away. But can't they fly away?

They're scared of everything, and 2 did fly off. The others stayed and were great for the bugs until the opossum got them

Not really. Some days it does feel like a long time, yes, like when I'm lugging water to them for the 3,295th time, but most days I still feel like I've not had them a week.

Haha! I've chickens for a year and it feels like its only been a few weeks!

I had guineas for about 6 months before I couldn't take them any more. The bird brains were trying to kill my chicks. Wouldn't free range either, too scared unless I let the chooks out with them which negated their whole purpose.
