How much fly larva do i feed each chicken?

My girls really love the black fly larva but I don’t want to overdo it . How much do you normally feed each chicken. I have Steel eggers and Belgium d’uccles. Is it same for mealy worms?

Not too much since it’s just a treat. People go by one small handful per chicken per day but I just do 1 big handful for 6 chickens when I want to give them. It’s not necessary. Only time u can give more is when they’re molting
