My 9 month old cockeral Hunter has taken a real shining to my 5 year old hen, Miss Ohio. He follows her everywhere. He gives her bugs, the best blades of grass he can find trying to impress her. He does the dropped wing boogie & circles her, but so far she has not done the squat for him.

Just when I think he might actually get to consumate the relationship, his hormones kick in & he has to go and do his own version of the rooster dance.

He is such a SPAZ, & Miss O is not impressed. I'm actually embarassed for him. At this rate, I think he will remain single for his entire life.

cute photos, thanks for sharing. My buff orpington rooster who free ranges with the hens has calmed down alot in the past 2 months, but was "hen crazy" at first.

at least he is trying to impress the lady. I won't even tell ya what has been going on the run at work, lets just say I will be eating a lot of roosters this winter.
