How to fix toenail

Hi, my 16 ish week ara has half torn off his toenail... how do I clean and repair? Do I tape it or remove it? He’s limping outside free range, but walks fine inside on hard floors. He stands on one leg outside. I also don’t know how to clean in the most pain free way. Any antiseptics needed? Will he grow another? Thanks!

That close I might leave it for a bit to grow out before trimming off the broken part. Otherwise you can nip it off. Have a blood stop product handy, and expect some limping for a while.
