How to Save a Baby Chick From Dying.

I've had a chick for about a week now and he's about three weeks to a month old, for some reason today he started acting sick. We also have a duck with him (so they won't always quack or cherp) and we think the duck got him wet. My daughter is really torn up about this and she wants to try to save him but we don"t know what it is or how to cure it. Right now we have him in a towle/blanket on a heating pad on low and he still doesn't look good. His eyes are shut and he won't really move or get up? What should we do?

i have to chicks and my mom bought me 2 but the next day they where sick and one is just (cheaping) hes looking good but the other one is just laying down . i am just sad
