I crow. You crow. we all crow. when?

It varies. Anytime after 7-8 weeks or long after that. I have some young roosters. One started crowing at seven weeks; and now four weeks later a rooster the same age has not yet started to crow. Also, some breeds mature much faster than others.

i just got rid of a chicken because at 6 weeks he confirmed my suspicions of "her" being a roo by crowing! it definetly varies by breed and every chicken is different. i think its a safe bet to say between 6-12 weeks? maybe there will be a few late bloomers..
