I know this looks silly, but can I feed my chickens dead bees?

I have a beehive, and since we've had some warm days, I've noticed alot of the bees have been drowning and/or freezing to death in standing water- we have 5 gal buckets under our downspouts to harvest rainwater.
So since chickens can eat worms, and I've seen them catch moths and other bugs, can I give them the dead bees?

I dunno - but it certainly wouldn't hurt them. I notice that any errant bee that makes it inside the coop only lasts a few miliseconds! My chickens are FAST!
