I think my hen has gone broody

She has told me everyday since when I go to collect eggs.

If she's been sitting on those eggs for more than a couple of days, I would say she's broody.

I'm fairly certain she is but going to give it another day before I go and put good eggs under her.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I only have one hen that stays on the eggs until they hatch.
The rest of my so-called broodies will sit for a week or two then figure it's too boring and leave.

My serama hen was sitting on a nest but in a bad location. I moved her to a pen and she broke got the in the bator but it's over flowing so a broody would help right about now.

I slipped some good eggs under her the evening of the 19th. Hopefully come April 9th she'll have some babies

I don't think she is broody. she sure is ****** that your bugging her during her private moment though.:lol

Well that is pretty mild behavior for my broody hens. They act awful. Feathers all bowed out mean hissing and pecking. Their eyes glaze over and they make this awful deep clucking noise for a few days b/f they start setting(when I walk by).
