I Was Intentionally & Vicously Attacked By A Bee, I mean YellowJacket

I recommend ice ... and lots of it! Both on the sting and in the gin and tonic!

* A wasp isn't a bee, PC. But, a sting is a sting, regardless.

After the afternoon I've had, the visual in my head of you running and screaming like a girl gave me a laugh that I very badly needed!! Thank you sooooo much!

Yup, I just caught one in my house and it's a variety of YellowJacket, a wasp.
Most Yellows we get around here live in the ground, not a softball sized paper
nest.

Anyways, the ice in the glass works much better than the ice on the hand.
There is no stinger, just a tiny red mark surrounded by a hive.

All is well. Thanks for your concern.

make a paste w th warm water and meat tenderizer it will take the ouchie away.

Course depending on how many gin and tonics you've had maybe it isn't ouchie anymore.

so were you screaming like a little girl or a full grown banshee?

Actually Bees and Wasps don't bother me much. You leave them alone and they
will leave you alone. Paper Wasps are actually quite friendly. It's those evil
YellowSilkieJackets that are nasty.
