Your Ginger rooster sounded like one of a kind, a real charmer. I'm sure you miss him very much.

Here are some of my roosters Colin, Rascal and Augie. I call them my bachelor boys.

This is (or was) our wyandotte rooster George Clooney. We named him George Clooney because the girls didn't want anything to do with him at first. After naming him George Clooney he finally was accepted by the ladies and they really grew fond of him.
George was a very friendly and brave little guy. He was killed last year by a beech marter (stone marter) while protecting his girls.
I think George died a hero!
