People have Told me I can't raise chanteclers around here on account of the heat and humidity. Someone forgot to tell the birds. People do raise them down here. Don't get hung up in breed descriptions.

If you stuck a camel outside here during the summer without shade and water it would probably die.
I raised CX through the heat of the summer.No ice water. No fans. They had shade and clean water. I on the other hand went into the hospital 4 Times in July and August from the heat (prior heat stroke)

Another example of a bird that functions well outside a habit it evolved in for millions of years is the Emu. They can go from deserts to blizzards.

A lot of the literature I've read over Saipan say they are not as "game"as other orientals. Don't believe it!!! These guys fight constantly!And size does not deter them!!
